“I now use this measuring stick: What kind of impact am I having on people around me? Am I still willing to recognize everything that I don’t know; to dig deeper and learn more?”

Chicago Executive MBA Moves to Historic Santa Fe Building
A Chicago landmark became the new home of the Chicago Executive MBA program in January 2007 when the program moved to the Santa Fe Building on South Michigan Avenue. After renovations are complete, the facility will offer students larger, tiered classrooms, around-the-clock access to team study rooms and more amenities. The building is owned by the University and will house the Chicago alumni and development offices. Founded in 2002, Notre Dame’s EMBA program is now the third largest executive MBA program in Chicago behind Northwestern and the University of Chicago.
Executive MBA Program Ranked #20 by BusinessWeek
Notre Dame’s South Bend Executive MBA Program was ranked 20th in BusinessWeek magazine’s biennial survey of 241 programs worldwide in 2005. According to the report, “...students gave the program kudos for its enthusiastic faculty, high-caliber classmates, and special emphasis on corporate governance, ethics and leadership.”
Students attend classes from noon Wednesday to Saturday afternoon once a month and complete the degree requirements in two years. The program is also available via distance learning technology to students in Cincinnati.
Signature Program in Values-Based Leadership
More than 900 executives have participated in the one-week Executive Integral Leadership experience since it was launched five years ago. The program, held on campus twice a year, equips participants with tools and changed perspectives to resolve complex strategic issues in a principled manner. Through assessments, interactive group work and reflective exercises, professionals gain self-understanding along seven dimensions: cognitive, emotional, interpersonal, values, moral, spiritual and physical. Participants included seasoned professionals from business, health care and engineering, among other fields.
Executive Education extends the vision and spirit of Notre Dame by inspiring and developing leaders to transform their own lives, their organizations and the world.

He also designed the signature Executive Integral Leadership program. “His accomplishments in a short six years are many but, even more importantly, Leo Burke leads by example through his thoughtful perspective and deep commitment to helping people find meaning in their work,” said Dean Carolyn Woo.
