The Cataloging Department makes it possible to find that book (or micro-reproduction, or atlas, or audio-cassette...)! We organize and classify the University Libraries' collections by providing bibliographic access to purchased and gift titles through machine-readable records available in ALEPH. Our behind-the-scenes operation can be found past the elevators on the first floor of Hesburgh Library. Are you in a hurry for an in-process title? Ask at the Circulation Desk and we will "rush" it to you.
