THE SETTING OF CARROLL HALL
Carroll Hall is located on the far west side of campus. Situated near Saint Mary's Lake, it has a stunning view of the famous Golden Dome. Carroll has a great amount of open space for recreation that includes its own sand volleyball court, basketball court, and open lawn. It is adjacent to the running path surrounding the lakes. DORM FACTS
Carroll Hall was renovated over the summer of 2011. There is now air conditioning on most of the first floor. Carroll also has such amenities as study rooms, a kitchen, laundry facilities, sinks in rooms, and modular furniture not to mention the big screen TV in the first floor TV lounge.
DIRECTIONS
From the south, enter Notre Dame campus along Notre Dame Avenue. Turn left onto Holy Cross Drive and proceed through the guard shack. The golf course will be to your left. After the stop sign at Dorr Rd, take the left curve to Carroll Drive. Continue on this one lane road and take the left hand fork to the main entrance of the building.
FLOOR AND ROOM INFORMATION
THE FIRST FLOOR
The first floor consists of two rooms for dorm residents (one double and one triple). Fr. Jim Lewis, rector of Carroll Hall, also resides on the first floor. His room is next to the front door. In addition to these three rooms, there are two study rooms, a computer room, two lounges (including a big screen television in one of them), and the Carroll Hall Chapel. THE SECOND FLOOR
Carroll's priest-in-residence, Fr. Mike Connors, lives on the second floor. Additionally, two RAs live on the second floor. There are four quads, four triples, and one double on the second floor. The bathroom is located in the middle of the floor. There are two RAs residing on this floor. THE THIRD FLOOR
One assistant rector and one RA live on the third floor of Carroll Hall. There is one quad, five triples, four doubles, and four singles on the third floor. THE FOURTH FLOOR
One assistant rector and one RA live on the fourth floor, just like on the third floor. There are two triples, seven doubles, and nine singles on the fourth floor. The bathroom is located in the middle of the floor.
