I am a fourth year PhD student in philosophy at the University of Notre Dame. I am beginning work on my dissertation, tentatively entitled "Grounding Truthmaking".

My primary philosophical interests lie within metaphysics, specifically in persistence, time, metaontology, mereology, material constitution, and free will. I'm also interested in some issues in the philosophy of language and epistemology.

When I'm not doing philosophy, I'm probably drinking coffee or a microbrew, listening to rap music, reading fiction, or doing the NYT crossword. I have resolved to learn to juggle this year, and it's going pretty well so far.
