Hey Babes! I was born and raised in Troy, Michigan and am now a second year law student at ND. I graduated undergrad from Notre Dame in 2008 with a B.A. in Political Science and Sociology. I loved it so much that I knew no other place would do when it came time for law school. I lived in BP as an undergrad. Considering the fact that it’s the best dorm on campus, I'm thrilled to be back and am looking forward to getting to know all of you and ensuring BP continues to be the best dorm on campus!

Hey ladies! My name is Annalee Janke, and I am excited to be one of your ARs next year. So a little bit about me...I just survived 1L, and now I am a second year at Notre Dame Law School! I grew up on a dairy farm in a very small town in the Texas Panhandle, but after living in Central Texas during undergrad, I now call the Dallas/Fort Worth area home. This past summer, I stayed in South Bend to work as a research assistant for one of the law professors - I learned A LOT about environmental law. In 2007, I graduated from Baylor University in Waco, Texas where I was a political science major and philosophy minor. I would have to say that my all-time favorite class in undergrad was called Social World where we read lots of Plato, Aristotle, Aquinas, and Locke. So far, my favorite law school class has been either Constitutional Law or Property. A couple of other random facts...I have one sister who is a senior at Brown; I am a big coffee fan (and hot tea!); I have had lots of random jobs through the years - from R.A. to gas station attendant!; the most random place I've been is Turkey (the country); my favorite childhood books were the Chronicles of Narnia; and I love to cook. I am excited to get to know you all next year!

HELLO!!!, CONGRATS, and welcome to all of you girls coming to BP this fall. I am from the suburbs of the beautiful Philly, PA and fully enjoy my lifestyle as an east-coaster. I am pursuing a major in architecture, a minor in art history, and a concentration in historic preservation, so if you can’t find me in BP, check the fourth year studio of Bond Hall. As an “arkie”, I spent both semesters of my junior year studying “a Roma”, where I acquired an addiction to Giolitti’s gelato, traveling, photography, and a good pair of Italian shoes. And yet, while abroad, I definitely felt a little homesickness for ND: the campus, my close friends in BP, football season, and countless lazy afternoons on North Quad in the spring. I also really love sketching and painting, faking a British accent, playing soccer, and shopping for vintage jewelry with my mom! And hey—if you ever have any questions at all – majors, stuff to bring, functioning on just two hours of shuteye and/or near-fatal doses of caffeine – don’t hesitate to drop me an email. Have a wonderful rest of your summer, and I look forward to meeting you in August!.

Hi girls! Welcome to the Best Place on campus! I’m a small town girl from Belen, New Mexico. I have been blessed with a big family and love that the amazing people of ND have become a part of that. I look forward to spending time with the lovely ladies in 2 South, but always have my door open for those who love random dance parties, episodes of Friends, or those looking for service projects. I’m a Sociology major with minors in Education and Public Service. Eventually, I hope to work in Education Policy or Administration. This summer, I’m spending my time teaching in an all-boys orphanage run by Buddhist monks in Thailand. There are so many exciting possibilities here at ND (especially through the Center for Social Concerns), and I can’t wait to share them with all of you!

Hello Girls and welcome to Notre Dame and Breen-Phillips Hall! My name is Sophie and I will be your RA in 3 South. I’m a Biology major and Theology minor from Toledo, Ohio. I’m hoping to do some type of service teaching after graduation—and then who knows. After studying abroad in Dublin last fall, I fell in love with Ireland and traveling. I also really like frozen yogurt (Irish Mint in North Dining Hall is the best), gymnastics, camping, volunteering (especially with kids), spaghetti, thunderstorms, and Scrubs! I’m looking forward to being your RA and having a very fun and exciting year! I hope you all have a great summer and I can’t wait to meet and get to know each of you amazing girls in August!

Congratulations and welcome to Breen-Phillips, the dorm with the shortest walk to DeBartolo. I invite all of you to stop by my room on the first floor before you head up to your room or off to LaFortune. You'll probably find me there, watching Sex & the City (my favorite TV show) or listening to odd new music (I sometimes DJ for WVFI, the radio station on campus). And as a recent returnee from Italy, I'll probably have coffee on hand if you need it. I spent the spring semester in Rome, which was a wonderful city for me, a classics major and ice cream addict. I'm spending this summer in DC working at an environmental non-profit on a communications internship for my policy minor. I love my hometown of Richmond, VA dearly, but I can't wait to call Notre Dame's campus home once again.

Hi! My name is Kate Callahan and I am the RA of 3North. I was born in Philadelphia and my parents just moved back there, but I grew up in Syracuse, New York so consider "The 'Cuse" to be my home. I am a Marketing and Spanish double major who is hoping to be employed somewhere next year! Around campus I am involved in a lot of activities. I am a fitness instructor (my speciality is Cardio Funk), a research assistant to a marketing professor, a peer educator for the Gender Relations Center, and teach Sunday School to second graders. I also studied abroad in Toledo, Spain two summers ago and this past summer worked with the ND Vision program (one of the best experiences of my life!). When I'm not busy with one of those activities, I enjoy spending time with friends, watching sports (cheering on my Fighting Irish and Syracuse Orange), and being active outdoors (hiking, playing sports on the Quad, etc). I also enjoy running. I ran my first half marathon last year and am hoping to one day run a full marathon!

Why hello out there in the great beyond of paper mail! Welcome to BP, the honest to goodness best place on campus (once you stop needing air conditioning, that is). I’m so excited to meet all of you once you arrive in August! But just in case you’re feeling a little weirded out by this nameless, blurry-pictured being that can’t wait to see you, I’ll introduce myself. My name is Michelle Stein, and I will be the fab 4th floor RA this year. I am a senior biology major and anthropology minor hailing from Morton Grove, Illinois, a small suburb outside of Chicago. I love (or love to hate) all things about pop culture and love watching old movies and enjoying awesome (and awesomely embarrassing) music and television. I spent the last fall in London, and so my Anglophilia will be pretty obvious to all- nevertheless, I’m still really glad to be back at ND. Hope the rest of your summer is great and welcome to Notre Dame!
