Research Interests
My general interest as a researcher is investigating the effects of changing biodiversity patterns in our modern era. In vein with this I'm curently focusing on biotic homogenization as a research topic, however, the ecology of human impacted systems, invasive species, and restoration/ecosystem engineering are also points of interest. Because of my background working in streams, I tend to view things from an aquatic perspective, however I have general knowledge of multiple ecosystems and attempt to frame my questions in theory first then figure out the easiest way to test my ideas. |
