The following information is related to my current teaching and past research activities.

Fall 2010 - AME30362, Design Methodology:

For those interested and willing to wade through un-filtered documents, the following two links provide Class Session and Course Project/Homework documents.

AME30362 Fall 2010 – Class Session Presentation Summaries

AME30362 Fall 2010 – Policy, Homework and Project Descriptions

Spring 2011 - AME40463 Senior Design Project:

AME40463 Spring 2011 – Course Handout

4 project teams worked on projects that involve the application of technology in the form of mechatronic devices to assist disabled or handicapped individuals in the workplace or to provide assisting to patients and care-givers during physical rehabilitation from accident or illness. The following two links should provide access to a couple of the highlight videos developed for these projects.

Client: Memorial Hospital, Project: Device to assist a rehabilitation therapist determine the forces in a patient’s upper extremity during a rehab session.

Client: A wheelchair bound individual, Project: A device that can be adapted to a motorized wheelchair to assist in picking-up an object from the floor.

Fall 2011 – AME30362, Design Methodology:

I will post information on this course during the semester

Fall 2011 – AME20214 Introduction to Engineering Computing

I will post information on this course during the semester

In the past I’ve provided links to open-access web sites for my courses but this past year I used the University’s Concourse system to provide students with content and grades and only enrolled students will have access to the web-based course information. If you are interested in information related to these courses, contact me.
