Who Are We?

The ND Ballroom Club offers ballroom dancing opportunities for every level of dance ability. We have weekly lessons for beginners who have never danced ballroom before, weekly social lessons for people who want to learn a few steps and just dance, in-depth lessons for beginners who are serious about learning to dance, advanced lessons for experienced ballroom dancers, and competition opportunities for anyone who is interested in dancing competitively. Whatever your interests are, we are sure to have something you will enjoy!

Which lessons are best for me?

Beginner Lessons

If you're not sure where to start, these lessons are your best bet. We design these lessons for people who have never danced Ballroom or Latin before, and even if you have two (or three) left feet, we can help you learn to glide gracefully around the floor. Our professional coach will start from the basics of the dances and focus on the most fun (and challenging) part of ballroom dancing: the connection between leader and follower and the technique that makes this connection strong. These lessons will benefit you most if you come every week (or almost every week).

Social Lessons

These lessons are designed for anyone to casually drop in. A professional instructor will teach a new dance style each week, progressing from the basic steps into slightly more advanced patterns. Don't worry about being left behind, though, because our instructor will teach to the ability level of everyone in the room. You'll get more out of these lessons if you can learn the basics of leading and following at beginner lessons on Wednesdays, but since we start from the very basics of each dance at each social lesson, you won't be left behind. Since each lesson is complete in and of itself, there is no need to come every week- come only to the dance styles you want to learn!

Beginning International

If you're interested in more intense dance instruction but have never done international style before, this is the perfect lesson for you, even if you are a complete beginner. You will get the most out of these lessons if you can come every week and also practice on your own outside of the lesson (with a partner from the lesson would be even better!)

Advanced Lessons (American and International)

These lessons are designed for people who are competing ballroom and latin at least at the Bronze level. These lessons go more in-depth into technique, lead-follow connection, and patterns.
