My research encompasses a number of topics within the field of labor economics, including internal migration of labor; local and state labor markets; labor markets for workers of different skill types; higher education; and the evolution of the market for college graduates.

I helped direct a report on the economic impact of undocumented workers in South Bend.  This was funded by a 2007 Ganey Collaborative Mini-Grant from Notre Dame's Center for Social Concerns. [Download report]
