Team Travel

When traveling to away games, student-athletes are officially excused by the Vice President for Residence Life. The Faculty Board on Athletics limits these absences to three Monday-Wednesday-Friday classes or three Tuesday-Thursday classes (in any one semester) for regular-season competition. For additional information please see the Faculty Board Manual.

An official class excuse letter will be emailed to professors prior to the date of travel.

Alternative arrangements for assignments that are due on a day of travel need to be individually addressed with the professor as soon as a conflict is identified. It is recommended that students discuss the conflict in person rather than rely on email correspondence.
