Team Travel

When traveling to away games, student-athletes are officially excused by the Vice President for Residence Life. The Faculty Board on Athletics limits these absences to three Monday-Wednesday-Friday classes or three Tuesday-Thursday classes (in any one semester) for regular-season competition. An official class excuse letter will be emailed to professors prior to the date of travel.

Alternative arrangements for assignments that are due on a day of travel need to be individually addressed with the professor as soon as a conflict is identified. It is recommended that students discuss the conflict in person rather than rely on email correspondence.
