Books and Supplies

Grant-in-aid student-athletes with a scholarship that includes textbooks should use the following procedure to get their books:

• Go to the Textbook Information Window, located on the second floor of the Hammes Bookstore, during regular business hours.

• Present a University ID and fill-out a Release Form.

• Find course-required textbooks on the shelves.

• Check out at the register with the completed Release Form and University ID.

Student-athletes may access their Release Form as many times as necessary until all required textbooks are obtained. For additional information please see the Student-Athlete Handbook or contact the Coordinator of Student Development in the athletic department.

In addition, student-athletes receiving a scholarship that includes textbooks may also obtain course supplies (e.g., calculators, art supplies, computer disks, subscriptions), if they are required of all students in the course. The supplies must be specified on the course syllabus. Student-athletes should bring their course syllabus to their Academic Counselor and fill out a requisition form.
