ASPECT: Faculty, Students and other Collaborators
The research effort is headed
by :
-
Prof. Yih-Fang Huang
whose
primary research interests are in the area of statistical signal processing,
including parameter estimation, signal detection and estimation, adaptive
signal processing, set-membership filtering, and their applications to
modern communication systems, especially interference suppression for multiple
access communications. Currently, he is examining space-time signal processing
techniques (such as "smart" antenna technology) for improvement of wireless
communication systems such as CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access). Dr.
Huang is also involved in image source coding and image transmission in
low bit-rate channels.
