Q. Can I use just any empty classroom?

A. NO -- You must call and reserve classrooms with the Registrar's Office - 1-5133 or email: roomreq.1@nd.edu

Q. What if there are not enough chairs in the classroom?

A. Call Academic Space Management - 1-4610

Q. Can we add more chairs to the capacity of a classroom?

NO -- You must contact the Registrar's Office and reserve a larger room.

Q. Can we move chairs around?

A. YES -- As long as you put them back in the original order for the next class

Q. What if there is no podium?

A. Call Academic Space Management - 1-4610

Q. What if the lights are not working and/or burned out?

A. Call Building Services - 1-5615

Q. What if I need chalk or erasers?

A. Each building housekeeper has a supply or you can call Building Services - 1-5615

Q. What if the heat/air conditioning is not working?

A. Call Facilities Operations - 1-7701

Q. What if the projection screen is damaged?

A. Call Academic Space Management - 1-4610

Q. What if the overhead projector, VCR, or TV doesn't work?

A. Call Equipment Rental 1-6423

Q. What if there is no Crucifix in the classroom?

A. Please call Academic Space Management - 1-4610 and we will replace it.

Q. What if there is no clock in my classroom?

A. The University stopped putting clocks into classrooms in the early 90's due to theft.

Q. What if I am not sure who to call?

A. You can always call Academic Space Management - 1-4610 and we can take care of the problem or point you in the direction you should go.
