
Creative (as well as not so creative) ways to eat veggie in the d-halls

- Make your own veggie fajita by putting stir fried veggies in a tortilla wrap
with salsa
- Put some hummus in a tortilla with lettuce, tomatoes, and onions to make a
wrap
- Microwave some veggies from the stir fry bar like mushrooms and use them to
top baked potatoes or veggie burgers
- Bean burritos
- Grilled Cheese with soy cheese
- Make-your-own-pizza with soy cheese at North Dining Hall
- Make your own chili- take Spanish or plain rice, kidney beans, tomatoes, etc
along with some tomato sauce. Mix them together with chili powder found in the
spice rack
- Avocado wrap. Take a tortilla and put on some guacamole, tomatoes, and
whatever else you like.
- Tacos- take veggie burger and break it up into small crumbles. Put them in a
taco shell and heap on the toppings
- Take a veggie burger and make it into crumbles and add to tomato sauce to put
over pasta
- Put folded over tortilla with hummus, or any other filling of your choice in
the panini machine to make a quesadilla
- Mix soy milk with grape nuts and place in the microwave (Fruit such as bananas
on top are yummy!)
- Make your own rice dishes with rice, kidney beans or chick peas, and steamed
veggies such as corn, green beans, or peas. Add a sauce if you chose.
- Barbecue tofu sandwich- break up tofu with fork and mix with barbecue sauce.
Add corn or whatever veggies you desire and spoon onto a roll
- Cold pasta salad- Mix pasta with corn, tomatoes, cut up carrots, broccoli, etc
and add some Italian dressing
