Welcome to the Graduate Student Department Organization (GSDO) website. We are the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering (AME) department's organization run by and for its graduate students here at the University of Notre Dame.
AME Graduation Ceremony Volunteers
This just in from the main office. They are having their annual graduation ceremony on Saturday, May 17 at 2:00 pm and are in need of some help from the graduate students again this year.
They need:
- 6 ushers
- 1 student to work lights and sound
- 3 ticket takers
They would need them to be at Washington hall on Saturday at 1:00pm. There will probably be a meeting sometime during that week as well be sure to check the web-site as the event nears for more details.
Everyone who helps is invited to attend the reception following.
Last year the volunteers were monetarily compensated for their help!
Relay for Life
Thank you to all who participated in the Relay!! We raised over $700 for our team, with a team total of $2605! Hope you all had fun, and be sure to check the web-site for future volunteer events. Check out the photo gallery for pictures.
Highlighted Researcher
We are looking for current graduate students with outstanding research to display on our homepage. If you think your research is good enough and are interested in having it presented on this page then submit a proposal using this format by email to be evaluted by the GSDO officers. There is a $10 gift card to the bookstore for the winning submission.
