| Specific research projects
are currently funded by grants from the National Institutes of Health,
Department of Defense, Centers for Disease Control, National Science
Foundation and private companies. The new facility will enhance the
visibility of bioengineering at Notre Dame and competitiveness in procuring
large training grants. BIO research at Notre Dame has currently received over $5M in funding from the following agencies: • National Institutes of Health (NIH) • Department of Defense (DoD) • National Science Foundation (NSF) • Centers for Disease Control (CDC) • Indiana 21st Century Fund |
