Philips Ultrasound (a division of Philips Medical Systems),has a opening for a mechanical engineer.

Our site in Reedsville, PA is one of three dedicated to medical ultrasound; our site specifically designs and manufactures the ultrasound transducer.  A mechanical development engineer would work on the mechanical modeling (Pro/e and autocad) of the components and related documentation, designing and working with the on-site machine shop to produce tooling, coordinate with the supply chain organization for quoting and ordering prototype materials, and will work extensively in manufacturing process development.  The work is extremely multidisciplinary, utilizing skills in mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineering as well as acoustics and material science.
