The Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering would like to invite you to nominate faculty for the following teaching awards. Your information will be considered by a departmental committee of faculty and students that will make the final decision.

(a) Kaneb Teaching Awards: This will be given to one mechanical engineering and one aerospace engineering faculty. The nominee should have been active in full-time undergraduate teaching for a minimum of five years. Teaching and research faculty should be tenured. Professors Eric Jumper (2002), Thomas Mueller (2003) and Steven Schmid (2003) who have won during the last two years are not eligible for this award.

(b) Ruth and Joel Spira Award: This will be given to one AME faculty. Professors Edmundo Corona (2001), Robert Nelson (2002), and Michael Stanisic (2003) who have won within the last three years are not eligible for this award.
