Dear AME Students,

Last week I wrote to you with information regarding an unexpected scheduling issue that we had encountered regarding AME439 Heat Transfer. Considerable effort has been expended during the past week exploring options regarding this particular issue.

We have now been able to secure a time and room for a second section of this course for the Spring 2005 semester. This will allow all juniors and seniors access to this important course. Thus we will NOT be offering AME439 in the fall of 2005 and we will limit enrollment in the spring of 2006 to the class of 2007 and only special cases for the class of 2006. Thus all current AME juniors are strongly encouraged to register for one of the two currently listed AME439 sections. Please revisit the on-line registration site for additional information on the new times for this course.

I am sorry if this has caused any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and adaptability - important attributes for any engineer!
