Dear AME Students:
I want to make you aware of two important meetings that will take place next Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2005. I encourage you to consider attending if you have interest in either engineering graduate school or international study opportunities.
International Studies Opportunities in AME:
6:00 - 7:00 p.m. in Room 356A Ftizpatrick Hall
For any AME student who has interest in foreign study opportunities but most importantly for Sophomores who are interested in the Engineering Program in London for the Fall 2006. Faculty will be available to overview the London program and the ways in which you can develop your own foreign study opportunity.(Pizza will be available at the end of the meeting)
Graduate Studies in Engineering:
7:00 - 8:00 p.m. in Room 356A, Fitzpatrick Hall (Pizza and soft drinks will be available)
For all AME students, sophomores through seniors, who would like to learn more about graduate school including:
What is graduate school?
Why consider graduate school?
Who should go to graduate school?
When to go to graduate school?
Where should you go to graduate school?
Some details
How to identify the right schools?
How to prepare to apply?
How to apply ?
How to select the right one, once youve been accepted?
One may not realize that sophomore year is not too early to begin thinking about grad school, junior year it is critical to look at this option and as a senior, you want to make sure you know how to be successful.
