Thermal Engineer for our Intel- Mobile Platform
Group; position can be based out of our Santa Clara, CA or Hillsboro,
OR  locations

Responsible for testing and/or analyzing in the area of notebook thermal
technology development. Your responsibilities will include but not be
limited to:
- Devising and implementing test approaches and techniques, and
performing testing for varied thermal devices and systems
- Procuring equipment and material required for testing and securing
outside machining and/or services
- Conducting thermal and fluid analysis in support of technology
development activities

BS; MS or Phd in Mechanical Engineering or a BSAero with more than two
to four years of commensurate experience. Additional qualifications
include:
- Knowledge of fluid-thermal fundamentals options and fundamentals
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently with engineers and technicians
- Experience with thermal and fluid test devices and equipment
- Experience with thermal instrumentation and knowledge of instrumentation
- Adaptability to varied test requirements and test articles requiring
innovation in rapidly setting up new efficient tests would be an added
advantage
- Experience with fluid and vacuum systems, soldering, and assembly
techniques would be an added advantage
- Experience with LabView*, personal computing system testing, computer
operating system troubleshooting, programming, design of experiments,
computational fluid dynamics including Flotherm*, Icepak*, and/or
Fluent* would be an added advantage
