INDA is a trade association for the nonwovens industry. Our 320 member companies include P&G, Kimberly-Clark, Dupont, Johnson & Johnson. These companies look for interns and employees in engineering, chemistry and textiles (to name a few).
INDA is establishing an on-line intern network where students can find potential internships and companies can find interns. There is no cost. Please forward this email to your rising juniors and sophomores and encourage them to sign-up. We are in the beginning stages of the program so some patience will be appreciated. Sign up at: http://www.inda.org/class/interns.html
In case you are wondering, nonwoven fabrics are in over 500 different end products e.g., medical supplies, baby diapers, construction, home furnishings. It is a big business that grows 4-6% annually. Jobs in this industry would be an excellent career path for your students. INDA, Association of the Nonwovens Industry is a trade association that fosters the growth of nonwovens worldwide. Our intern network program will help promote this growth. We also do trade shows, conferences, government relations, training courses and more.
