Dear AE or ME sophomores,

I know that some of you are currently in the process of applying to or at least considering participating in the study abroad program in London for the Fall 2005 semester. I have spoken with some of you and you have attended meetings to gather information on the program.

To assist you in your decision, an offer has been extended by two AME students who are currently in the program in London to answer questions you might have "from the student's perspective" via email.

Tom Bodart - ME (Thomas.W.Bodart.2@nd.edu)
Lauren Gillings - AE (Lauren.M.Gillings.1@nd.edu)

Both Tom and Laura should be able to provide their insight and as you prepare to make decisions, you might find it useful to contact them.

Currently the AME department plans on offering AME301 - Differential Equations, Vibrations and Controls I and AME330, Fluid Mechanics next fall. The availability of other technical courses has not yet been determined nor will it be until late in the spring semester.

Good luck with you planning.

Steve Batill
