This class is designed to cover topics which are not included in the more elementary graduate courses or to expand the coverage of topics which are included in elementary courses. The topic covered, which is decided by the instructor, may vary from semester to semester.

• Computational solid mechanics.
• Constitutive modeling.
• Experimental solid mechanics.
• Fatigue of materials.
• Probabilistic mechanics.
• Wave propagation.
