Project Request Form

Projects must adhere to published required lead times for completion. Requests which do not allow adequate turnaround time for design and printing will not be accepted. You will be notified upon receipt of this form if your project does not allow adequate turnaround time, and we will provide you with contact information for freelance design services to assist you.

Deadlines for Design Requests

The following are the required lead times for completion.

  • Posters:
    Four weeks in advance of event--all information must be received
  • Programs for conferences:
    Four weeks prior to event
  • Mailers or postcards:
    Minimum of six weeks prior to mailing
  • Newsletters:
    3-5 months lead time should be allowed for newsletters. A preliminary planning meeting must be scheduled to determine mailing schedule, frequency of publication, design, and writing/editing needs for a newsletter project.
  • Web image (for conference registration):
    Three weeks prior to website going live

Any photos or images requested by client must include copyright permission prior to initation of layout.

Redesign of Existing Job

This project has been printed before, but needs to have corrections or revisions made. Revisions could include resizing, new images, or new copy. A redesign is a job that would require additional manipulation before printing.

Please give a detailed description of the corrections or revisions needed. All photo/text change information must be supplied in writing in the data box below.

Please note: Images taken off the internet/Web are not acceptable images for print materials. Web images are copyright protected and are NOT public domain. Permission from the owner(s) of the images must be granted in writing before using these images, and a print quality version must be obtained. Web images are also low resolution (72-150 dpi); print quality digital images should be 300 dpi at the required dimensions. Images from books are also not suited for use for copyright reasons.
