Getting Involved
Notre Dame students can get involved through these student groups:
PILLARS
Pillars (Peers Inspiring Listening, Learning and Responsible Socializing) is a peer education team whose purpose is to help shape positive norms regarding alcohol, other drugs and related issues. Peer educators are students from a wide range of perspectives, who volunteer their time to facilitate group discussions and present educational programs to other students. All peer educators are required to complete an intensive training program focusing on leadership development, group facilitation skills, and alcohol and other drug content information. Applications can be picked up from Alcohol and Drug Education 204 Saint Liam Hall.
Flip Side
Flip Side is a student club that provides and promotes great social activities that are alcohol free.. Their goals include 1) offering a positive social environment for those students who are looking for an evening activity that does not involve alcohol, whether it be just for that night or as their lifestyle; and 2) to allow students to find activities to balance the week.
