2000-2001 Application Information
Thank you for your interest in the University of Notre Dame's Alliance for Catholic Education. We invite you to join us in service through teaching, to experience our unique two-year program integrating three pillars:

To apply, you can:
1. Call or stop by the office to pick up an application and submit your completed application to the office no later than January 23, 2001.

2. Download and type directly into the interactive version of the application (using Microsoft Word), print the form, and submit it to the office by January 23. Or download the Adobe Acrobat version of the application. If using this method, four copies of the recommendation form are needed as well.

If you plan to apply, please take a moment to fill out your biographical information and submit it electronically. This will expedite the application process.

Important dates

January 23, 2001 - Application Deadline

January 24 - Interview Sign-Up Meeting for Notre Dame and St. Mary’s students. 7 p.m., Lafortune Ballroom

March 20 - Notification of acceptance

April 6 - Commitment Deadline

Thank you again for choosing to apply to ACE. If you are a Notre Dame or St. Mary’s student, please plan to attend the Interview Sign-Up Meeting at 7 p.m. on January 24th in the Lafortune Ballroom. If you are from another university, please wait to be contacted regarding interviews and acceptance. If you have any questions regarding applications, please contact the office.

Requirements:

Candidates must have received, or expect to receive, a bachelor’s degree by the summer following the date of their application. Candidates must possess a willingness to live in a small Christian community. Candidates must commit to serving two years.

The ACE program welcomes candidates from all academic disciplines. We encourage applications from those with strong backgrounds in mathematics, natural sciences, or foreign language, and those of varying cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

ACE invites all applicants for service to Catholic education. All participants should be willing to live and work in a Christian community. Religious affiliation is not a determinant for acceptance.
