U.S. Per Diem Rates
Make sure that the current year is set and click on the map. Once you've identified the city for which you are figuring per diem, athletes may claim the M & IE rate minus $3.00 as a maximum daily rate. Per diem is divisible by 20% breakfast, 30% lunch & 50% dinner. The first and last days of travel are limited to 75% of the allowable daily per diem rate (total less $3.00 for a student athlete).

When issuing foreign per diem, use the M&IE Rate minus Incidentals (for athletes) which are found on the FTR Appendix B (Breakdown of Meals/Incidentals).
