English as a Foreign Language (EFL) Seminars

EFL Academic Writing Seminars are designed for undergraduate and graduate non-native speakers of English who want to improve their ability to write academic arguments. Students working in small groups of 4-6 will meet weekly with a seminar leader to address conventions of writing and researching in a U.S. university. Students bring their own writing to the sessions, working on it with the seminar leader.

Please note:

• Space is limited; we may not be able to fulfill every request

• Seminars run for 11 weeks
• Students must commit to full attendance and participation to be admitted to the seminar
