Driver Safety

DRIVER TRAINING INFORMATION

Students driving University vehicles are first required to attend a safe driving class sponsored by the Transportation Services Department.

Students need only attend this session once during their time at Notre Dame.

Employees who spend the majority of their professional time driving a University vehicle must attend a safe driving class sponsored by Transportation Services within a reasonable period of time after they are hired. All employees who drive University vehicles are encouraged to attend a safe driving class every three years.

Classes are held on Tuesday's at 10:30 am and Thursday's at 3:00pm.

If you are unable to attend a class at this time call Transportation Services to see if an alternate time can be arranged.

Transportation Services now offers the National Safety Council Defensive Driving Course.

Training will be held from 8:00am - Noon in the Maintenance Building Seminar Room.
