Dining: A food allowance at the campus dining hall of 3 meals/day for the 6 weeks duration of the course will be provided by the program. Meals on all fieldtrips will likewise be provided.
Transportation to Campus: Once the awardees confirm their participation in the program, Jaime Ullinger will contact you to make arrangements for your travel to Notre Dame's campus. The flight arrangements will be made thru a campus travel agent so the cost can be directly billed to the project account. If you choose to drive, you will receive a reimbursement for miles, as computed by the campus accounting office. You will be eligable for free parking on campus while registered.
Ammenities: there are two gyms on campus, indoor and outdoor running trails (around the campus lakes), common rooms with televisions, group kitchens, access to laundry facilities, and internet access at many spots around campus (including your dorm rooms if you bring a computer). Each room will have a phone, however each student will be responsible for their own long distance calls. All students registered for the course will receive a student ID which will permit use of the campus libraries, dining facilities, and email access (you will receive a Notre Dame email address, or you can access your personal account -such as hotmail, AOL, etc - via the web).
