From
Kittyhawk to micro air vehicles and the Mars Rover, aerospace engineers,
like the students in AME 441: Aircraft Design, have always been the dreamers
and
doers. They will continue to shape the future of flight. But before Notre
Dame students get a crack at the aerospace industry, they have to pass the
senior
design course. This year their task is to design, build, and test a remote
piloted aircraft. This site shares their experiences and insights along the
way. The Department of Aerospace and Mechanical
Engineering at the University
of Notre Dame invites you to check back every week to track their progress.
