CLUB INFORMATION MEETINGS

Club Information Meeting Fall 2008 Dates:

August 25 @ 1-3pm - LaFortune Ballroom **
September 8 @ 5:30 & 6:30pm - LaFortune Montgomery Auditorium
September 9 @ 5:30 & 6:30pm - LaFortune Montgomery Auditorium
September 10 @ 5:30 & 6:30pm - LaFortune Montgomery Auditorium

**August 25 is a joint meeting for all Center for Social Concerns social service and special interest clubs.

At least TWO members from each club must be in attendance. With the exception of the CSC clubs, your club can attend any meeting.

Club Info Meetings are an opportunity for the Student Activities Office and Club Coordination Council to address policies and procedures and to foster opportunities for collaboration. Meetings will last approximately 1 hour, and will cover the following agenda items:

  • Review and interpretation of University policies and procedures
  • Change of Officer/Officer Registration Form updates
  • Presentation from the Club Coordination Council on supplemental funding opportunities
  • Election of Club Coordination Council division representatives (Spring CIMs only)

Every club is required to send the two highest ranking officers (i.e. president, vice president, captain or equivalent position title, per club constitution specifications) to one of the Club Info Meetings. The two officers do not need to attend the same meeting. All club officers are invited to attend. Clubs not represented at one of the meetings could lose their recognition status with the University.
