General Information
Alumni or students in any college seeking prelaw advising at Notre Dame should contact the principal advisor located in the College of Arts and Letters. A resource library in 104 O'Shaughnessy makes available for student use current law school bulletins, LSAT applications and LSAT preparation materials, The Official Guide to U.S. Law Schools, and other law career planning and resource materials. Students interested in a law career should join the Prelaw Society,
whether they are simply considering law school, or they have already begun
the application process. The Society arranges lectures, panel discussions,
workshops on personal statements and financial aid issues, conducts a mock
LSAT and various other events to inform students about issues pertaining
to all aspects of consideration of and application to Law School. Up to
date information about general matters pertaining to prelaw advising, including
Prelaw Society events on campus, can be found on Gopher (Notre Dame Information;
Academic Departments; Prelaw Advising) and in the Prelaw Society Newsletter,
published monthly. To join the Prelaw Society, contact Ava
Preacher in 104 O'Shaughnessy, or Colin Sharkey or Kenton Villano, Co-presidents of the Prelaw Society.
