Modern and Contemporary Russian History:
Monographs and Documents
Modern Russian History Program,
University of Notre Dame.
Founded in 2001, Modern and Contemporary Russian History:
Monographs and Documents series aims to bring highly original
monographs and documentary collections written or edited by
a younger, post-Soviet generation of Russian scholars to a wide
international audience. The publications are designed to foster
dialogue between scholars working inside Russia and those
in countries with sizeable academic communities specializing
in the field of modern Russian history, including U.S.A., U.K.,
Czech Republic, France, Germany, Israel, Netherlands, Poland,
Scandinavian Countries, Turkey, and Japan. The manuscripts and
documentary collections submitted for publication
undergo a rigorous review process involving the editors and
at least two outside reviewers. The materials are chosen not
for their support of any single interpretation, but for their
particular historical importance and general value in deepening
our understanding of modern and contemporary Russia and
facilitating discussion within an international community of
scholars, teachers, and students.
S.Lyandres, P.Tribunskii, D.Wulff

libraries in Russia (Vladivostok, Voronezh, Ekaterinburg, Irkutsk,
Kazan', Moscow, Nizhnii Novgorod, Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Omsk,
