Crowd pleaser
NBC political
analyst Tim Russert brought his own erasable marker board -- and got a
new one as a gift from President Malloy -- when he spoke on campus a week
after the presidential election. Russert, who used a similar board to
sort out electoral college scenarios for viewers on election night, attracted
an overflow crowd to McKenna Hall. He talked about his career and his
Catholic upbringing in south Buffalo, New York, along with the presidential
balloting and recounting, which was then ongoing. "What do I think will
happen?" he said. "I don't have a clue."
