Close Your Eyes, Josephine Cameron '00MFA
(Modo Records). Albums of lullabies, Cameron's sister told her,
can be boring. The singer's response is her third CD, which she
calls "lullabies for young and old." The 13-track album contains
such traditional songs as "Bow Down Low" and four original songs
written by Cameron and Anthony Walton '82. She accompanies all

Brand New Day, Emily Lord '96 (Vermillion
Media). When she learned she was pregnant, Lord wrote the song
"One Day at a Time." "I'm giving up a little freedom for love,"
she sings on her third CD, whose cover features a picture of her
daughter, Kate, taken by her husband, David Beach. The 11-track
collection, with a rock sound and elements of folk, country and
pop, explores the life of a woman balancing career, motherhood

Give In, Anne Heaton '94 (Q Division).
"The songs in this record explore how much to give in a relationship,
where boundaries should be, and the ways in which intimacy can
feel safe, fun, thrilling and scary," the singer says of her second
CD. Along with her upbeat vocals, the 10 tracks showcase Heaton's
skills at the piano and the guitar-playing mastery of her musical
partner Frank Marotta Jr., with whom she co-wrote many of the

Panis Angelicus, Father Chuck Witschorik,
CSC, '99, '03M.Div. (Apostees Produccions Catolicas). The
associate pastor of the Saint John Vianney parish in Goodyear,
Arizona, puts his strong tenor to use in this 16-track CD of spiritual
music. "Ave Maria" and "There Is a Balm in Gilead" are among the

Bajawalla tours
Several ND graduates and current students are putting
their dream of becoming professional musicians to the test this
summer in Chicago, as they tour in their newly formed band Bajawalla.
Band members are guitarist David Miller '04, drummer Peter Miller
'04, keyboardist Mike Maimone '04, bassist Bobby Seus '06, rhythm
guitarist Justin Brandon '04 and lead vocalist Lawrence Santiago
'06. Several played on campus in the group Station One. The band
performs an original and eclectic mix of surfer rock, funk hiphop,
