Deliver Us from Evil

The author and his main character are both New York congressmen and graduates of Notre Dame Law School. The resemblance ends there, as King takes protagonist Sean Cross on a journey to clear his name in the murder of an IRA informer. Such real-life figures as Bill Clinton, Gerry Adams and Charlies Rice, a Notre Dame emeritus professor of law, join in this fictional tale of high-level intrigue.
