More partners in the Big Six
accounting firms have degrees from Notre Dame than from all but six universities,
according to a monthly newsletter, Bowman=s Accounting Report. (Since that report, two firms have merged
to make it the Big Five.) The newsletter =s survey found 160 Notre Dame academic degrees among partners of the Big Six. The only schools with more degrees were New York University, the University of Pennsylvania, and the universities of Texas, Michigan, Illinois and Southern California. The Big Six accounting firms are: Ernst & Young, Arthur Andersen, Coopers & Lybrand, Price Waterhouse, Deloitte & Touche and KPMG Peat Marwick. (Coppers & Lybrand and Price Waterhouse have since merged.) |
