Contacting the MES Staff

During office hours, the MES advisor will be available at the institute office to meet with students and answer questions.  The advisor is available to help with issues such as: tracking progress toward completion of the minor, planning course schedules prior to registration, determining an essay topic or director, determining course eligibility (both here and abroad), and other academic issues related to the MES program.

Both current MES participants and students interested in learning about the minor are encouraged to visit the institute during these hours.  Alternately, students are welcome to contact the MES advisor directly for information about the minor or for academic advising in relation to the minor:

Students can also contact one of several faculty members who have volunteered to serve as alternate MES advisors for students:

Joseph Buttigieg, Dept. of English
John Cavadini, Dept. of Theology
Barb Connolly, Dept. of Political Science
Carlos Jerez-Farran, Dept. of Romance Languages
Isabel Ferreira-Gould, Dept. of Romance Languages
Robert Fishman, Dept. of Sociology
Stacie Gutting, London Program
Philip Sloan, Program of Liberal Studies
Christopher Waller, Dept. of Economics
Albert Wimmer, Dept. of German and Russian
Michael Zuckert, Dept. of Political Science
