STUDENT POSITIONS

Applications for student employee positions in the Language Resource Center become available every year on the Monday after Spring Break. Pick up an application in 201 O'Shaughnessy Hall. Fill it out and return it quickly. There's always a lot of competition for relatively few positions, and we number the completed applications as they come in. (This is like mail-in contests, in which, in case of ties, the early bird always wins.)

What do we look for in LRC assistants?

Good "people" skills.

An interest in providing good service.

Foreign language experience desirable but not essential.

Skills with (or aptitude and interest in) simple audio
and video recording techniques.

Skills with (or willingness to learn) foreign language-specific
computer applications
