GENERAL INFORMATION

The Language Resource Center is a complex located in the southwest corner of the second floor of O'Shaughnessy Hall. It consists of an audio/video lab and a foreign language multimedia library (201).

The multimedia library has 10 individual audio/video stations, 3 PCs, and 2 iMacs with DVD and 2 DVD player stations. We also have available (via reservation) a classroom area with video and seating for 32 students as well as a conference table with seating for 7-8.

Students can come to the Language Resource Center anytime it is open. They do not have to reserve a time slot, nor do they have to appear at a time that may have been listed in the course schedule (DART) book. A valid Notre Dame (St. Mary's, Holy Cross) student ID card must be presented to use the center. There will be no checkout of video tapes. Students may obtain a copy of any audio lesson tape or CD for which we have copyright clearance.
