DUPLICATION

The Language Resource Center now has three options for access to audio materials:

1. Students and faculty may use the materials free of charge in the LRC. The cassette audio equipment allows students to listen to tapes, as well as record their own voices on a second track for comparison. We also have CD players throughout the facility. Students must check out materials from the counter with a valid Notre Dame, St. Mary's or Holy Cross ID card, returning the materials and checking them back in when finished. Faculty use a check-out card system to check out and return materials.

2. Students may request copies of tapes or CDs for use at home as long as we hold a permission to duplicate the material. The duplication fee is $1.00. Students either bring in a blank 90 minute cassette tape or CDR(W) 80 blank CD or buy one for $1.50 from the LRC. Requests must be made in person and the forms are available at the counter. The requested duplication will be processed within twenty-four hours.

3. Most of the materials are available on the Internet, right here, right now! Use is restricted to the ND campus. Your NetID and password are required.

Note: Your copy can only be made in the same format as the original.
(ie: cassette to cassette or CD to CD)
