Many choices. One vision. Undoubtedly, my life has given me plenty of choices that would have deviated me from the path I walk today. I chose Notre Dame. As a rising Sophomore, I am an Accounting and Political Science major and plan to remain for a fifth year in order take the CPA examination. My ultimate goal is to become an entrepreneur, but "to sing one must first learn to speak", as my father once said. Thus, I am learnig my first words in the language of business--Accounting.

After graduation, my intent is to work for one of the Top Five accounting firms. My primary goal as an employee for one of Top Five is neither for monetary nor vanity purposes but instead to learn exactly how corporations of such prestige run a business. What makes them successful? Such observations are what is going to help build me as an entrepreneur. Within the same company, hopefully, I can transfer to different divisions that deal with other business aspects such as marketing, investment and human resources. The point is to pursue the experience with the end goal of entrepreneurship.

Why entrepreneurship? I like risk. I like people. I like to have choices on each shoulder and developing a vision to choose one. My entrepreneurshp career will hopefully have begun the moment I begin working after graduation. With any bit of capital raised, I plan to begin investing in Chicago and Guadalajara real eatate and in several of its respective local businesses. I prefer to reside in the Chicago area after college simply because it is most convenient for me as far as contacts. Any return on investements that I make will be immediately reinvested. As a result, I plan to live frugally while investing. If at some point, I do begin making any returns, my family will be the first hands to receive them. I have perptual debt of love for them. With their support, my vision to learn in the business world will not deviate from its path.
