Elections

Elections for officer positions to be held for 2006-2007 will tentatively be held on Sunday, April 23. Only a current officer can run for President, but here is a short description of the other positions:

• VP of Game Day Operations- Responsible for jeer cards, also other day of game duties
• VP of Marketing- Big project is the Legion shirt, also help with giveaway items, etc
• VP of Special Events- Plan events like road trips, game watches, etc
• Secretary- Keep minutes at meetings, also keep track of membership, dorm reps, etc
• Treasurer- self-explanatory?

ALL NOMINATIONS (and you may nominate yourself) FOR THESE POSITIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 5PM ON APRIL 21^ST. 

Also, if anybody would like to take on the role of webmaster, please let us know. 

Shirt Design Contest!

It’s time to start thinking about next year’s Leprechaun Legion shirt, and we are now taking any ideas, designs, and suggestions that any of you may have.  The front of the shirt should be kept simple with “The Leprechaun Legion” clearly written across it, but the back can have pretty much anything- a quote, slogan, design, some combination, whatever.  

Just for your reference, here is what we have gone with the last few years:

• 2001- “Increasing home court advantage since 1842”

• 2002- “The only place on campus where nothing is sacred.”

• 2003- “Standing room only”

• 2004- “No shoes, No shirt, No tie, No problem.”

• 2005- “Better conference.  Higher stakes.  Louder Legion.”

Of course, the winning designer will be rewarded, with free plane tickets courtesy of Allegiant Airlines (or an alternate prize at the winner’s request).
