The Consejo
Nacional de Taller (National Printmaker’s Counsel) was established
in 2003 to support the art of printmaking and community-based Latino/a
art organizations.
We pursue this aim by creating a network of artists, organization directors, scholars and universities to promote information exchange, research and critical dialogue as well as promotion of our work. Our first collaborative project is currently in progress. We are creating a print portfolio with an edition of 60. Each portfolio will contain prints, two from each of our member sites. A limited number of portfolios will be for sale. Profits will help support future meetings and initiatives. Membership is by invitation and application. Contact our coordinator
