SEMINAR 2007
HOUSING INFORMATION
All Seminar participants stay at Mercer Court for the duration
of the Seminar. The rooms are arranged in small suites of three
or four persons, all with their own bedrooms and shared living
room, bathroom and kitchen. The bedrooms have their own TVs
and there is a shared TV in the living room. In addition there
is a message system on the individual suite's telephone which
can store messagges while you are out. There are laundry facilities
in the basement, ie. washer and dryers which are €2.00
per wash and €2.00 per dry. There is a 'Resident's Only'
side entrance to Mercer Court which closes at 11.00pm, after
that one enters via the reception desk at the front of the building.
We do hope that you will be comfortable at Mercer Court, we
have housed our Seminar participants here for 5 years.
Mercer Court is situated on Mercer
Street which is one block from Grafton Street the main shopping
street in Dublin, so it is very central to the heart of Dublin.
O'Connell House, the new premises
of the University of Notre Dame - Dublin, and the Irish Seminar
2007 venue, is a very pleasant 10 minute walk from Mercer Court
and the city centre.
