In 1989, Notre Dame undergraduates and faculty published an Academic Code of Honor Handbook to
express their shared commitment to respect and honor the intellectual and creative contributions of each individual.  Today, as a precondition for admission to the University, all undergraduates pledge:

“As a member of the Notre Dame community, I will not participate in or tolerate academic dishonesty.”

This website introduces students and faculty to the principles, policies and procedures of the Academic Code of Honor.  The website also lists the faculty and students who have primary responsibility for overseeing the implementation of Notre Dame’s honor code.
