I have been employed by the University since 1992.  After spending five years in the Library and one year as a research assistant in the Office of Institutional Research, I moved on to the First Year of Studies in 1998.

I was born in Poughkeepsie, NY, but was primarily raised in the Midwest, living in Michigan, Indiana, and Wisconsin. I returned to Niles, Michigan, in 1984, graduating from Southwestern Michigan College and Indiana University. I still live in Niles with my son, Christopher.

I enjoy being a soccer mom and have just begun being a Babe Ruth baseball mom, as well. I have coached youth soccer and cheerleading teams in the Niles area. My interests also include playing in the garden and exercising with my black Labrador Retriever every day.
